How do I make a booking with Afro Cruisers?

You can book your cruise or tour via our website using the “Book Now” or “Explore Trips” options. You select your itinerary, cabin or package, fill in traveler information, then pay via our secure checkout. If you prefer help, our customer service team can assist via email or phone.

What travel documents do I need for a cruise or tour?

You’ll need a valid passport with at least six months beyond your return date, and potentially a visa depending on your nationality and ports of call. We also recommend health or vaccination certificates if required by any stops in your itinerary.

What is included in my cruise fare?

Your fare typically includes accommodation onboard, meals in the main dining venues, standard entertainment, port charges, and most onboard amenities. Extras—like speciality dining, alcohol/drink packages, WiFi, shore excursions—may cost extra.

Are food and drinks included in the cost?

Yes — main meals and many non-alcoholic beverages are included. Alcoholic drinks, drinks packages, premium beverages, and specialty restaurants are often not included in the base fare. We’ll show all “in-fare vs add-ons” clearly when you book.

Will I get seasick and how can I minimize discomfort?

Modern cruise ships are built with stabilizers that reduce movement. Staying near the middle of the ship, choosing mid-ship cabins, avoiding rough weather seasons, and using over-the-counter remedies (ginger, wristbands, motion-sickness meds) can help.

What should I pack for an Afro Cruisers cruise or tour?

Pack versatile clothing: daytime casuals, swimwear, evening wear (smart casual and possibly one formal night), comfortable shoes for excursions, sunscreen, hat, adapters, medication. Bring outfits that celebrate our culture too — Afro Caribbean themed pieces are always welcome!

What is your policy on cancellations, changes, and refunds?

We allow cancellations or modifications up to a certain timeframe before departure (this will vary by trip/package). Refunds are given per our stated policy, minus any non-refundable costs. We recommend travel insurance in case of unexpected events.

How much cash should I bring, and what payment methods do you accept?

Most essentials can be paid by credit or debit card. However, it’s wise to carry some cash for smaller purchases onshore, tips, or in case of places that don’t accept cards. We accept major credit/debit cards, and options for installment or pay-later may be available for select packages.
